Two-wheel drive is standard on the Lariat, so keep that in mind. If you want enhanced traction, four-wheel drive (4×4) is available with a two-speed transfer case and an electronic-locking rear differential. You get selectable Drive Modes with the Lariat, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Tow/Haul, Slippery, and Trail. The 4×4 models have additional modes for Deep Snow/Sand and Mud/Rut for superior off-road performance.

The technology that Ford has packed into the Lariat also makes it incredibly fun and convenient to drive, starting with a massive 12-inch infotainment display joined by a second 12-inch driver productivity screen. You get dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control inside the Lariat, with ambient lighting, Intelligent Access with Push-Button Start, and power-adjustable pedals with memory settings for multiple drivers. A basic sound system is standard in the Lariat, but a B&O Unleashed sound system with 18 powerful speakers is available.
